Happy New Year!
If you happen to be in Paris in a few weeks, I really hope to see you at an exceptional concert I'll be playing at la Maroquinerie le 3 mars This happens to be a special project offered to us by the wonderful team of folks at GoodProd. I've been working for the last few weeks on a special project with a young Norwegian singer by the name of Thea Hjelmeland. Tickets on sale now!
as always, you can find me on twitter and facebook où je tacherai de vous mettre à jour sur tout ce qui concerne l'enregistre éminent de mon album (finalement!!!).
New shows! While I'm working very hard on this upcoming album, I might as well treat some nice folks to some shows, right? So off to Switzerland for some solo shows in September and full band shows in November. For more info, check out the tour page or my dusty old myspace page or my brand spanking new tumblr page, where I've started to post tour pictures.

Well Hello there, here we are 6 months later, and no sign of this new album as I had promised! Damn. Well, I can *assure* you that it is on its way. I'm working hard every day with lovely people to see that this happens. And that the album is good. In the meanwhile, if you're in France or neighboring country, you'll be able to enjoy an acoustic, solo, stripped down version of these new songs in your local mediathèque for the 2011-2012 season by way of this cool project: l'Association 45tours

Your local libraries are hiring me to give a solo concert during which there will be a high level of interaction with you dear audience. This will be the occasion to meet with me, to chat about the songs, their lyrics and my songwriting process. Other songwriters and musicians I LOVE are also participating in the project. People of talent and merit such as Mathieu Boogaerts, Pédro Kouyaté, Albin de la Simone et Françoise Breut. See you soon! At your local (French) library
The second crew the riots grrrls at Gals Rock who are throwing a party at la Flèche d'Or with Lisa Papineau and Clara Luzia. Here's the fabulous poster the girls made:
One last big show on May 4th in Paris at the historical '3Baudets' in the Pigalle neighborhood, before I take off for an exciting German/Swiss tour! I'll be joined on stage by a brand spankin' new band, as well as a few guests: lovely Norwegian singer-songwriter Thea Hjelmeland for a folky duet as well Shahid and Mossim Khan straight from Jaipur on santoor and tabla. For tickets: lestroisbaudets.com.
Big thanks for the Ottawa Xpress for making me this Thursday's cover girl. I've been reading the Ottawa Xpress for years so for me this was a big deal! Another big thanks to Cormac Rae for the very flattering accompanying article. German tour dates announced for May as well as my first ever gig in Morocco!!! I love where my job takes me :)
In the wake of tragic events on Kiskeya Boyo, I wrote a little note on my facebook page. It's too long to share it, but you can view and comment on it here. Please give generously and regularly to Partners in Health, Charity:Water, Doctors without Borders and Madre.
Happy New Year! It's almost my birthday.. almost. I'm that age when journalists stop mentionning your exact age anymore. I'm also closer to my thirties, which is supposed to be the decade you're most comfortable in your skin. I'm really looking forward to that. Being in your twenties and in an industry where your looks count more than your talent does wonders for my self-esteem...
Is it a fad? Is it here to stay? I dunno. But I decided to get a twitter account... I'm not even sure I have enough interesting things to share on a regular basis but oh well.
